I provide creative story-telling, editorial and communications services that help clients tell engaging stories about the beauty of and threats to the natural world. My work and ideas have been commissioned by editors, businesses, publishers and charities for more than 20 years.
I understand the narratives, language, concepts and imagery proven to appeal to different audiences. I am experienced in finding strong stories and have gathered a large bank of story ideas and contacts over 20 years.
I have commissioned and briefed numerous contributors to write on environmental subjects for my books, and have commissioned and collaborated with many photographers.
My work combines:
Specialisms:
Companies increasingly need to tell their environmental and sustainability stories in order to gain credibility with employees, stakeholders and investors.
Storytelling lies at the heart of PR and can drive environmental change. I began my career in corporate PR, holding senior positions both in-house and in PR agencies, and received awards for the campaigns I ran. I have a sound grasp of media and communications functions and have devised many successful integrated communications strategies.
Specialisms:
I believe image-led storytelling is an increasingly important way of highlighting environmental and conservation issues.
I work with photographers to create beautiful photo-stories, calendars, books and content that evoke wonder and empathy and bring to life the beauty of and threats to the natural world.
I provide ghost-written copy and speeches on environmental, natural world and sustainability themes and issues. I combine facts and current issues with thought-provoking concepts, quotes and references.
